AI billing and price plans

RadioNewsAI pricing is based on the duration time of all AI-generated audio.

Each plan includes a set number of minutes, but usage-based billing can be enabled beyond that. This allows you to 'pay as you go' beyond your included minutes and keep things running smoothly.

Our AI voices are generated by ElevenLabs, who provide some of the most natural-sounding AI voices available today. However, these do come at a cost.

In an effort to keep our prices low, we reuse generated story audio where possible, running them in multiple newscasts until the content of the source article it is based on is updated, triggering a new audio version.

⌛ Managing your minutes

You will receive email notifications when you've used 80% of your second quota. When this quota is reached, you have two options:

1. Upgrade to a new plan
2. Enable usage-based billing

⏱️ Changing your plan

You have the flexibility to cancel or update your plan at any time. Simply follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the "Subscription" section located in the lower left corner.
2. To cancel your subscription, click on "Manage Subscription" and proceed with cancelling your subscription.
3. To update your plan, select either "downgrade" or "upgrade" to the plan that suits your needs. If you choose to upgrade, you will be billed the remaining amount immediately.

💳 Enabling usage-based billing

Usage-based billing means you will pay per second for usage that goes over the monthly quota of your plan.

To enable usage-based billing:

1. Go to the "Subscription" section, found in the bottom-left corner.
2. Turn on the toggle next to "Enable usage-based billing".
