Scheduling AI newscasts
You have two options for creating an AI newscast: manually generating them or scheduling them automatically.
💾 Export a newscast manually
To manually generate a newscast, simply access the "three dots" menu in the upper right corner of a script. Click this menu and select "Generate newscast" from the dropdown.
⏲️ Schedule automatic updates
Newscasts can also be set to update and export automatically - either on a schedule or as and when stories from your chosen sources update.
To set up automatic updates, click the "three dots" menu in the upper right corner of a script and select "Schedule" from the dropdown.
On the scheduling page, switch the "Newscast generation option" from "Manually only" to "Scheduled" This will enable the "Add a schedule" option. Click this button to create a schedule.
After setting up a schedule, you'll see exactly when the newscasts will be generated, using the timezone from your team settings by default.
🔗 Update when source stories change
To automatically generate a newscast whenever the source RSS feeds you have used update, follow the steps above to reach your newscast scheduling page and tick "Generate a newscast when the source is updated."
When this option is enabled, a new newscast is generated when even minor changes are made to your source material. This could potentially result in a significant amount of audio generation usage if you are not using a source set up specifically to be used for AI-generated content.
