Introduction to Showhost

Showhost is Aiir's easy-to-use planning tool for radio shows and podcasts. It allows you to build running orders and keep your notes in one place.

You can bring in multimedia content, including audio clips and social media posts to mention.

It also includes a handy Live Assist Mode, which allows you to focus on just the current item while you are on air.

On this page, we'll walk you through creating a running order, setting up timings, using a template and adding notes in Showhost.

🏠 The Home Screen

The first thing you see when you log in to Showhost is the home screen. It gives you a quick look at your team and what you've been doing recently.

The home screen is where you will find all your running orders and notes.

The home screen will highlight running orders for currently airing shows or those coming up in the next 24 hours.

👥 Teams

In Showhost, teams could just be you, or as many co-presenters or producers you choose.

Once you have invited your colleagues to join your Showhost account, everyone can access everything. There's no need to share individual documents around or manage permissions.

📝 Running Orders

Running orders in Showhost makes it easy to get things done and plan your podcast or radio show.

As changes are made, everyone in the team can see them - so your whole team can be kept on the same page.

If you have recurring shows that follow a similar structure, you can create templates that serve as the bare bones for future running orders.

There's no limit on how many running orders and templates you can create.

You can build running orders from our range of available building blocks, including speech, songs, production, time markers, ads, news and weather.
