Showhost subscriptions and billing

When you sign up to Showhost, a subscription will automatically be created with our billing partner Stripe.

Showhost payments and subscriptions are managed entirely through Stripe, meaning if you want to change payment method, review billing information, or cancel your subscription, you will need to do so via Stripe.

To access your Showhost billing area, head to the Team Admin page by clicking the user menu in the top-right corner of Showhost, then click 'Manage Billing' and continue to Stripe.

You can add or remove people, change your organisation branding or billing information from the Team Admin page.

🗓️ Trial period

When you first sign up to Showhost, you can use it free of charge for 14 days. After your trial period ends, you will be billed in the currency you chose when you created your account.

If you haven't entered your payment details before your trial ends or they are invalid, your account will be suspended and deleted after 30 days.

If you cancel during your trial period, your account will be deleted immediately. Otherwise, you won't be billed again, but you'll still have access until the end of the current billing period. You can change your mind during that period, but once it's over, your account will be deleted.

💳 Issues with payment methods

It is important you keep the payment details associated with your Showhost account up-to-date.

If Stripe is unable to take the payment automatically, it will retry your payment method up to four times.

If the final attempt fails, your Showhost account will be suspended until you provide a working payment method. If you don't, after 30 days your account will be deleted.

Your data will be permanently deleted from our servers within seven days and from all backups within 30 days. It cannot be recovered.
