How do I change my Alexa skill's invocation?

Alexa skills all have a primary "invocation." This is the prompt that activates your skill, like "Alexa, play [invocation]."

It is important that you choose this invocation carefully, as under Amazon's current rules, it cannot be changed once it has been set.

If you have custom intents set up on your skill, like "Alexa, ask [invocation] for the latest news", or multiple stations in one skill ("Alexa, ask [invocation] to play [station]"), you can change station names or custom intents from the Alexa Skills app in the Aiir CMS.

However, Amazon only allows skills to use a new top-level invocation by creating a new skill and deleting the existing one.
