Monetizing your stream

Aiir Streaming allows you to make money from your station with pre-roll ads served by our partners, Zeno Media.

They work with some of the world’s largest and most trusted digital audio ad platforms to optimize your content.

Enabling monetization

You can opt-in to monetization for individual stations and relays. Just follow these steps:

• Go to the station you want to enable ads on
• Go to its Settings page
• Enable 'Monetization with Audio Ads'
• You can apply the ads to all or some of your station's relays if this is enabled.

To disable monetization and stop pre-roll ads being played, just untick the box and ads will no longer be inserted before your stream starts playing.

Ad impressions

The amount you can earn is based on two main factors: your audience size and the number of ad impressions. Each time an ad is played and heard by a listener, it counts as an "impression."

In your station's Analytics, you can see an overview of your ad impressions over time.

Your earnings

The Finance tab on the left of your streaming account shows a real-time estimate of how much your station has earned from its pre-roll adverts.

Your earnings are calculated based on how many impressions your station generates.

Zeno pays out ad revenue 90 days after the end of the month in which the ads were played. You must earn a minimum threshold of $100 to receive your first payment.

Once you have reached that, Zeno will contact you directly to arrange payment.
