Recording Error

If you see the following pop up box when trying to record a voicetrack then it usually signals a problem with your audio device talking to the browser.

Steps To Fix

  1. Restart the browser. Completely close the browser and make sure it's not running. Open the browser and then try again.
  2. Restart the PC. If the restart of the browser doesn't work then your PC may need to be rebooted.
  3. If a restart of the PC doesn't work, then we suggest trying a different browser. Our officially supported browsers are Chrome and Firefox.
  4. After trying another browser and you are still not able to record, we suggest trying to record into  https://online-voice-recorder.com/ if you can't record into this then it signifies a problem with your audio device and suggest you try another audio device. 
  5. If after trying another audio device you still can't record, please contact support@playoutone.com
