Why has Google Maps stopped working on my website?

To show maps on your website, you must have registered with Google Maps and obtained an API key. You can find this in the 'Maps and Geocoding' settings page in Site Settings.

Google enforces limits on the use of these keys, and the most common one to hit is when the number of requests for maps on your website has reached a specified quota.

If this has happened to you, you may see an error message appear over the top of the maps on your website.

Please refer to Google for more information by tapping the link on the map which says "Do you own this website?".
