How do I add our website to Google News?

As of March 2025, Google News automatically selects its content using an algorithm rather than the previous method of publications submitting articles, URLs, and RSS feeds for content.

Google selects content based on "freshness, authority and geolocation".

Google requires author bylines, real names, and clear editorial contact information. Sites which do not have a clear indication of who wrote a story may not be included in Google News.
