Starting SQL Server

If you receive a message from PlayoutONE that it cannot connect to the SQL database. Follow these steps to start the SQL Server on your PlayoutONE server machine.

1. On your PlayoutONE server, browse to C:\PlayoutONE\SQLConfiguration
2. In the folder, you should see a batch script called 'Start SQL Service'
3. Run the script, making sure to say 'Yes' to any prompt from User Access Control.

The SQL Server should now be started and you should be able to launch PlayoutONE.
