Arranging your windows with Layout Manager

PlayoutONE allows multiple window arrangements to be saved and easily switched between using Layout Manager.

This can be used to switch between live, voice tracking and production layouts on studio machines, or to give each presenter the ability to customise and save their preferred way of working.

You can re-arrange PlayoutONE's on-screen components to suit your preference and save it as a layout

🗂️ Accessing Layout Manager

Layout Manager can be opened from PlayoutONE's Launcher, accessed by clicking the logo on the top left of the main PlayoutONE bar.

Layout Manager can be opened from the Launcher, along with other PlayoutONE components

💾 Creating layouts

Before making any changes to your window arrangement, you may want to save your existing layout so you can come back to it later.

Once Layout Manager is open, type a name for your current arrangement and click 'Add'.

Then click it from the list and press 'Overwrite Selected' to save your current configuration.

The Layout Manager window lets you save, edit and remove layouts.

You can rename an existing layout by double-clicking its name on the list.

🔄 Switching layouts

To switch between saved layouts, open the Layout Manager then click the name of the layout you wish to use.

Then press 'Load Selected' and 'Save' to return to PlayoutONE.

🗑️ Removing layouts

If you no longer need a layout and wish to remove it from the available options, select it from the list and choose 'Delete'.

This will remove it from all PlayoutONE workstations.
