Allowing Aiir Support access to your PC

Occasionally, Aiir's support team may need to access your computer remotely to help troubleshoot or resolve a technical issue.

We use a service called ScreenConnect to do this which can be accessed by following these steps:

  1. Open a new browser tab or window and go to seemyscreen.net.
  2. Enter the five-digit code given to you by our support team and click the arrow to proceed.
  3. The ScreenConnect client will download to your PC.
  4. Open the downloaded file, pressing 'Yes' if you are presented with any User Account Control pop-up windows.
  5. Wait for our support team to connect to your PC.

Once we connect to your machine, you will see the notification in the corner of your screen change to say "Connected" and a grey bar will appear at the top of your screen so you know we are logged on.

After the support team disconnects, you will get another message in the centre of your screen informing you the remote session has ended. You can close that and continue using your PC as normal.

Apart from special cases, which we will discuss with you at the time, Aiir Support will not be able to access your PC again unless you have been provided with a new five-digit code.
