Installing PlayoutONE Standard bug fixes
If you have encountered an issue with PlayoutONE Standard which requires a patch to your installed version of the software, our support team will provide you with an updated file to replace in your PlayoutONE installation folder.
If you have a support subscription or PlayoutONE Pro, Aiir's support team can install bug fixes for you remotely.
Once you have received the bug fix, follow these steps:
- Download the file sent to you by Aiir Support.
- Close PlayoutONE.
Browse to the folder instructed by Aiir Support. This will usually be something like:
C:\PlayoutONE\Modules
- Rename the existing version of the file with
-old
at the end. For example,PlayoutONE.exe
would becomePlayoutONE-old.exe
. - Copy the new version of the file to the same folder, so it takes the place of the old version.
- Restart PlayoutONE and confirm everything works correctly.
- You can delete the old version of the file you replaced once you are happy everything works as it should.
