Installing PlayoutONE Standard bug fixes

If you have encountered an issue with PlayoutONE Standard which requires a patch to your installed version of the software, our support team will provide you with an updated file to replace in your PlayoutONE installation folder.

If you have a support subscription or PlayoutONE Pro, Aiir's support team can install bug fixes for you remotely.

Once you have received the bug fix, follow these steps:

  1. Download the file sent to you by Aiir Support.
  2. Close PlayoutONE.
  3. Browse to the folder instructed by Aiir Support. This will usually be something like:

    C:\PlayoutONE\Modules

  4. Rename the existing version of the file with -old at the end. For example, PlayoutONE.exe would become PlayoutONE-old.exe.
  5. Copy the new version of the file to the same folder, so it takes the place of the old version.
  6. Restart PlayoutONE and confirm everything works correctly.
  7. You can delete the old version of the file you replaced once you are happy everything works as it should.
