Delaying metadata from PlayoutONE

The Monitor app allows you to set specific delays for each metadata output you have enabled.

If you know there is a specific audio delay when you listen a certain way, this lets you ensure your metadata remains in sync with what listeners are hearing.

Setting up a metadata delay

1. Open Monitor.
2. Select the station you want to change and press 'Station Settings'.
3. Go to 'Metadata Outputs'.
4. Create or modify the metadata output by clicking the type or specific output from the list.
5. Switch to the 'Options' tab.
6. Enter your desired delay in seconds:

7. Press 'Save' on the metadata output.
8. Press 'Save' again to close the Station Settings window.
