Rip a CD to your PlayoutONE library

PlayoutONE has a built-in CD ripper to make getting CD audio into the system easier.

Using the ripper is simple. Just insert a CD into your drive, and it will automatically read the data and retrieve the associated track information from the internet if it’s available.

You then need to select the tracks you want to rip. To choose more than one, press Ctrl while clicking on a track in the list.

Once you're ready to rip, select whether to apply normalisation to the ripped audio and click 'Start Ripping’.

Once all audio has been ripped, you will be asked to set import options, such as the category and types.
