'Error 5' SQL error after installing PlayoutONE

When PlayoutONE is first installed, Microsoft SQL Server Express will usually be installed at the same time. It is required for PlayoutONE to work correctly.

However, if your computer has any pending updates (or has installed updates and needs to restart), the SQL installation will sometimes fail. It can also be blocked by antivirus software like Avast or McAfee.

To fix this, remove Microsoft SQL and its components from your computer. Go to Settings > Apps and search for "SQL", and remove all the applications currently installed.

After doing this, check to make sure your computer doesn't have any updates pending, then restart your computer.

When your PC restarts, disable any antivirus, reinstall PlayoutONE (ensuring you choose the option that says "Install SQL Server Express"), and it should install successfully.

It's also worth checking that Disk Compression isn't enabled on the C: drive as this can prevent SQL from running.
