Custom Audio Fields in Scheduler
Aiir Scheduler enables you to create custom audio fields, which can be used to store metadata about items in your library.
These can be purely informational (such as peak chart position), used for compliance reasons (like CanCon) or technical reasons if they are required for your playout system (such as WideOrbit category codes).
In some cases, these custom audio fields will be set up automatically as you get started with Scheduler, depending on your location or options you chose. For example, Canadian users will automatically have a field to denote CanCon and users who selected WideOrbit as their playout system will have the required category code field set up.
☑️ Creating custom audio fields
You can create custom audio fields during the initial Scheduler setup wizard, or at any time from your library's Settings page (in the upper-right corner of most Scheduler windows).
When you create a custom field, it can be one of the following types:
- Text
- Number
- Checkbox
- Date
Once created, these custom fields will appear at the bottom of the 'Edit' panel when you make changes to items in your library.
You can also set 'Help text', which will appear alongside each custom field to help your team use it correctly.
