Fixing scheduling issues

Issues occur in Scheduler when the rules you have in place mean no suitable audio items can be inserted to fill a log position.

For example, if you set a strict, unbreakable artist separation rule and don't have enough tracks from unique artists to successfully run logs for the period you selected.

On this page, we'll explain some common scheduling rules and how they can be resolved.

⛓️‍💥 Unbreakable rules are too strict

If you have a lot of unscheduled spots because of unbreakable rules, your rules may be too strict for the number of items in your library.

Try adding more items from the same artists, adding items to categories or relaxing your rules by making them breakable or reducing the time period they are in effect.

Rules are more effective when there is a diversity of artists and a sufficient number of selections in the category. This is also dependent on how often the category is used within the clocks.
