Categories in Scheduler
Unlike some music schedulers, with Aiir Scheduler, an item can be in as many categories as you like.
When you schedule a category in one of your clocks, any item in that category may be chosen. Item separation rules can prevent any one item from being played too often, allowing you more flexibility in scheduling your station's music logs.
For example, you could have an "hour openers" category to play first in a clock, but you may also want songs in that category to be scheduled as part of another category.
✏️ Creating categories
To create a category:
- From your Scheduler library, click 'Categories' at the top of the screen.

You can add as many categories as you need in Aiir Scheduler. - Set its name, color, dig depth and how the items should be sorted:
Name | What you want the category to be called. Unlike some music schedulers, there is no limit on how many characters you can use here. |
Color / Colour | The #HEX code for the shade you want to use to represent your category in Scheduler. |
Dig depth | The percentage of items that will be considered for scheduling, before manual selection is required to fix a broken rule. |
