Export logs to PlayoutONE Pro

Scheduler allows you to export logs in formats compatible with several popular playout automation systems, including Aiir's own PlayoutONE.

On this page, we'll explain how to configure a PlayoutONE Pro station output in Scheduler and explain what needs to be configured in PlayoutONE to automatically import new playlists.

💾 Exporting from Scheduler

  1. From your Scheduler dashboard, click the Station Outputs button on the top navigation bar.
  2. Click 'New station output'.
  3. Select your station.
  4. Choose 'PlayoutONE Pro' from the dropdown list.
  5. Choose either 'File download' to manually import the files, or connect a cloud storage account to automate the process.
  6. Once configured, click 'Create station output'.

After configuring your station output, you can then return to your library and press the 'Export' button on the sidebar on the left.

You just need to choose which days' logs to export and press 'Export Logs'.

⤵️ Importing into PlayoutONE

To automatically fetch logs as they are exported from Scheduler:

  1. Install your cloud storage provider's sync app on a server that PlayoutONE can access (this could be your main server or another machine on the same network, with a shared folder created).
  2. Once configured, go to Auto Importer and create a new 'Music & Traffic Logs' import job to fetch your logs.
  3. Specify the location of your cloud storage sync folder where your PlayoutONE .dpl files will be saved. If you have set up a station-specific path within Scheduler, make sure to include it here, not just the top-level Aiir Scheduler folder.
  4. Save the import job, and as new logs are exported to your cloud storage account by Scheduler, they will be imported by PlayoutONE.
