Why do my ads show zero impressions?
If you are checking how an ad campaign has gone in Reports and notice some ads show as having zero impressions or clicks, there are a few things to check:
🗓️ What date range are you looking at?
By default, ad reports in Aiir will show you how an ad has performed over the last month.
If the ad you are looking at stopped running before then, you will need to adjust the date range at the top of the Reports page to display accurate statistics.
This is the most common cause of ads showing no impressions or clicks, and fortunately, it is also not a true reflection of the ad's performance. Expanding the date range to include the period when the ad was running should display the correct statistics.
🚧 Check your campaigns, ads and roadblocks are correctly configured
Roadblocks can be set up to force certain ads or campaigns to appear in particular areas of your website. If these are not set up correctly, it can lead to ads not running.
For example, if you create a roadblock to force a campaign to run on specific pages, both the ad campaign and the roadblock can have start and end dates. If these dates do not align, when the roadblock is active, the inactive campaign will be shown, with no ads enabled.
If your campaign, ad or roadblock was not configured correctly before the period the ad was meant to run, the ad may not have been shown, so zero impressions or clicks is unfortunately correct. We recommend previewing ad campaigns before they start running—or shortly afterwards—to ensure the ads are displayed correctly.
Website owners are responsible for managing their own ads, and Aiir is not liable for any loss of revenue, missed opportunities, or client contract issues resulting from campaigns that have not been set up correctly.
