Accessing PlayoutONE Cloud server via Amazon WorkSpaces

If you are a PlayoutONE Cloud customer with your server hosted with Amazon Web Services, you can control your station's server using Amazon's WorkSpaces client.

You will need your registration code, which you can obtain from Aiir Support, as well as your server login credentials, which were provided when PlayoutONE was installed.

🤷🏼‍♂️ Why use Amazon WorkSpaces?

The screen resolution of AWS-hosted servers can sometimes drop to 640x480 after restarting, which makes using PlayoutONE and most modern Windows applications impossible.

The resolution is set when you connect to the server via WorkSpaces. Once it has been set, you should be able to use your preferred remote access software to control the server.

📡 Accessing your PlayoutONE server

1. Download the Amazon WorkSpaces client.
2. Enter the registration code provided by Aiir Support.
3. Enter your server login credentials (these are the same as you may use for Splashtop).
