Issues with Focusrite audio devices

Several PlayoutONE users have reported issues with distorted audio from Focusrite hardware after updating their operating system or audio drivers.

After extensive troubleshooting, the most reliable fix reported to us involves uninstalling all Focusrite drivers and applications and reverting to an older driver.

After uninstalling all Focusrite software, download this version of Focusrite Control:

Download Focusrite Control 3.11.0.1983

Once the software and drivers have been installed, restart your PC.

Customers who reported issues with the Scarlett Solo, 2i2, 4i4, 16i16 and 18i20 were able to resolve them using the above method.
