Using Aiir Connect to upload Alexa audio

Aiir Connect allows you to automatically upload audio to your Aiir-powered Alexa skill when a listener triggers a custom intent.

If you previously had Aiir's A3U application installed on the same PC to upload Alexa audio, you can safely uninstall it and install Aiir Connect. Your Alexa jobs will be carried across.

On this page, we'll explain how to configure an Alexa job in Aiir Connect.

Creating an Alexa job

After setting up your Aiir account, click the 'New' button at the top of the main Connect window to create a new job.

Then choose the "Alexa" job type and switch to various Alexa-specific tabs, where you can set the following options:

Skill & Intent

Skill Specify which skill in Aiir the audio will be used for
Intent Specify which intent within the chosen skill the audio will be used for
Intent audio Specify which audio within the chosen intent the uploaded file should replace
Audio file Path to the local audio file on your PC to be used. This will remain disabled until you choose which skill, intent and intent audio the file should be used with.

Schedule
