Using rotator rules to exclude items from some stations

PlayoutONE rotators can have rules applied to allow only certain item types or categories to resolve on a certain station.

If you open a rotator in the Media Editor, you will see a 'Rules' button in the bottom-left corner.

From the rules screen, you will be able to pick types or categories to exclude from the selected rotator:

You can use this if you have a rotator containing promos for multiple stations in your network, but you want to avoid promos for the current station being played.

Just select your rotator, go to its rules, choose the station at the top right, and choose which type or category to exclude from being played on the selected station.
