7.1 Surround Sound Cards

When using a 7.1 Surround Sound Card you may find that you cannot see the individual speaker outputs in PlayoutONE.

Using the Windows Sound Control Panel you should configure the sound card for 7.1 Surround Sound then move to the next screen and untick all optional speakers (ALL OF THEM!)

Once this has been done make sure to disable any associated Digital S-PDIF outputs too.

On restarting PlayoutONE you should find the outputs are now selectable and the sound should be coming out of each.
