What is LiveStream?

LiveStream is an audio streaming application with processing, logging and silence detection all built-in.

It can encode in MP3, OGG, OPUS, AAC and AAC+ to your chosen endpoint as either IceCast 1 and 2 or ShoutCast 1 and 2.

It can also act as it's own streaming endpoint which you can connect to using an application like VLC Media Player which can be downloaded from videolan.org

LiveStream can also be controlled by external applications or automation systems which allows you to do things like disable silence detection when you may have a planned silence or have LiveStream play a specific file. See the Commands section for more on this.
