Dynamic Meta

Dynamic Meta allows you to change the metadata of what is currently playing. To access this, press the 'Update Metadata' button from the top of the log screen (speech bubble icon).

You will then see a window where you can specify the metadata you wish to display. When you click Save, it will immediately be sent to any metadata outputs set within Monitor.

You can also trigger this Dynamic Meta update via a command in the log; this command is DYNAMICMETA, followed by the text you wish to output.

You can make Dynamic Meta appear when a particular item type is playing.

Open Type Manager and enter %%DYNAMICMETA%% in the Meta Override column for the types you wish Dynamic Meta to activate.

Ensure the Billboard checkbox is also ticked for each type; otherwise, it will not show.

If you want your metadata to include a line break so you can show titles and artist names or your station name and slogan on their own line, you can format it like this:
