When using Stereo Tool DSP my stream skips and buffers

If you find that your stream buffers or skips when using Stereo Tool then you may need to adopt some of the settings below. To change these settings you will need to enable the advanced settings from the configuration menu.

1. Parallel Threads

Ensure this is set to the number of cores you have in your processor. Ordinarily, this would be four.

2. Latency

Set the latency to the maximum setting of 4096 Samples.

3. Quality

Drop the quality to around 30%.

4. Display Refresh Speed

This can be turned to 0% once you've setup your processing.

A combination of the above settings will help spread the processing load on your computer.
