Deleting items from PlayoutONE's Media Finder

To delete an item from the Media Finder, right-click on it and click Remove, or click the trash can icon at the top of the Media Finder.

The item will be placed into the Recycle Bin and removed automatically after 14 days.

Deleting multiple items

If you wish to delete multiple items from PlayoutONE, you can hold the CTRL key on the keyboard and individually select them.

Alternatively, you can select a range of items by left-clicking on the first item and then shift-clicking on the last item. You can then right-click and choose Remove as normal.

Permanently deleting items

To bypass the Recycle Bin, hold CTRL and click the trash can icon on the top of the Media Finder.

Recovering deleted items

To recover a deleted item from the Recycle Bin, right-click the Media Finder, press Recycle Bin, select the item you wish to restore and press "Restore Selected."

If you bypassed the Recycle Bin when deleting an item from the Media Finder, you will not be able to recover it from within PlayoutONE and will need to re-import it.
