Uninstalling PlayoutONE

If you even need to uninstall PlayoutONE, maybe you've had issues with installing it and you need to go again, then if you follow this process you will get a clean uninstall including the SQL Server.

1. Open Windows 10 Settings and search for Add or Remove Programs.

2. Where it says Search this list, enter PlayoutONE into the box and click each returned item and click Uninstall.

3. Once you've uninstalled all PlayoutONE apps then change the search from PlayoutONE to SQL.

4. Choose Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (64-bit) and click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions.

5. When SQL has uninstalled then on the left sidebar in the Find a Setting box enter in Users and choose Add, edit or remove other users.

6. Under the Other Users section you should see either an account called PlayoutONESQLService or PlayoutONE_Admin. Click the account and click Remove and confirm to delete everything. If you see both accounts then remove both of them.

7. Once removed restart your PC.

All done. You can now reinstall PlayoutONE cleanly.
