Importing a PlayIt Live library into Scheduler

When you first log in to Aiir Scheduler, you have the option to import your existing music library from an existing playout system like PlayIt Live.

Here is a step-by-step guide to the process:

  1. In PlayIt Live, go to 'Manage' > 'Tracks'.

  2. With 'All Tracks' selected, click the 'Export track list to CSV' button.

  3. Open your track list .csv file in a spreadsheet application and insert a new column called 'UID'. Populate each field with a unique number (eg. 1, 2, 3...) then export as a new .csv or .tsv file.

You can fill out the first few rows, click and hold the left mouse button, dragging the plus sign over the cells you want to fill, and the AutoFill feature will populate the rest of the sheet.

  4. Once you have a copy of your library file, go back to Aiir Scheduler and upload it. If you are during the initial setup process, you can do this at Step 5. If you already have a library, you can go to 'Settings' > 'Import a library'.
  5. Select 'Other' as the library type and choose your CSV file from Radio.co.

The 'Other' option allows you to upload a CSV file, such as that produced by Radio.co.
  6. Map the PlayIt Live columns from your library file to the available fields in Aiir Scheduler:

    - 'Title' → Title

    - 'Artist' → Artist

    - 'Path' → File Path

    - The newly created 'UID' column → Cart/System ID

    - Any other corresponding categories

  7. Once imported, your library name will be obtained from the file used to create it. You can customise this, your timezone, tempo categories and other settings for Aiir Scheduler.

Check out our guide to setting up your music library for more details on the options you can set in Aiir Scheduler and how to set up rules.
