Sending custom metadata by item type in PlayoutONE
PlayoutONE Pro can be set up to override your station's default metadata (usually the currently playing track) with specific messages depending on the type of item being played.
This can be useful in having specific messages show during news or travel updates.
To set this up:
- Open the Type Manager from the Launcher.
- Enter the custom metadata you want to display for the item type in the 'Meta Override' column.
- Press 'Save'
You can also set up PlayoutONE to display the Dynamic Metadata message currently set in your system. This can be modified using the speech bubble button at the top of the log window.
To show the Dynamic Meta message when certain item types are playing, enter %%DYNAMICMETA%% in the Meta Override column in Type Manager.
