Metrics in Scheduler

Metrics are a neat feature of Scheduler which allow you to see at a glance how your scheduled logs measure up against your chosen criteria.

Perhaps your station format is all about the best new music, so you only want to hear tracks from this year; or if you're in Canada and need to ensure your playlist is at least 35% local artists, metrics make it easy to check:

Metrics can be shown in logs or categories to indicate how many items match the set criteria.

Metrics can be set up as part of your initial setup process or by navigating to the Settings menu located in the upper-right corner of most Scheduler windows.

You can create as many metrics as you like, and drag-and-drop them in Settings to change their order.

When creating a metric, you can set:

Name A short, clear name explaining what the metric is counting.
Audio items to count Choose between everything in your library, only music, or only non-music items.
Field to check Which field in your items' metadata should be checked to determine whether it should count towards your metric. Release year, genre, vocal gender and tags are included by default, but you can use your custom audio fields too.
Colour Choose how your metric label should appear on the context bar.
Emoji Choose a symbol to represent your metric.
Where to show Choose whether this metric should appear on your logs, categories, or both.
How it should be shown Choose between counting how many items match your criteria (eg. "1 / 10") or showing the value as a percentage (eg. "10%")
