Importing a PlayoutONE library into Scheduler
When you first log in to Aiir Scheduler, you have the option to import your existing music library from PlayoutONE.
Here is a step-by-step guide to the process:
- Go to the Media Finder in PlayoutONE and select everything you want to import into Scheduler. You can use Ctrl+A to select everything, Ctrl+click to select multiple items, and Shift+click to select everything between two points.
- Right-click your selection and choose 'Export Audio & Data'.
Choose where you want your export file saved, and choose the 'Aiir Scheduler' profile. Make sure 'Export data' is ticked:
If you don't see a profile for Aiir Scheduler, you may need to copy PlayoutONE - Aiir Scheduler Media Finder Export.exp
from C:/PlayoutONE/Data
to the corresponding folder on your main data drive (for example D:/PlayoutONE/Data
)
- Save your library as a .asch file somewhere easily accessible.
- Once you have a copy of your .asch library file, go back to Aiir Scheduler and upload it. If you are during the initial setup process, you can do this at Step 5. If you already have a library, you can go to 'Settings' > 'Import a library'.
Select 'PlayoutONE' and upload your .asch database file.
Choosing 'PlayoutONE' will allow you to import a library file. - Once imported, you can customise your library's name, as well as your timezone, tempo categories, and other settings for Aiir Scheduler.
