What's new in PlayoutONE v5.3?
PlayoutONE version 5.3 was released on 15 October 2025, bringing several new features, improvements and bug fixes.

- PlayoutONE now removes unnecessary carriage return/line feed characters from metadata when exporting a library. PlayoutONE does not create these, but they may be present and cause issues importing data if they were present when the items were originally imported to PlayoutONE.
- Silence can now be detected within an audio item, as well as at the start or end.
- LUFS normalisation improvements.
- Improved database maintenance process.
- Fixed an issue where Shared VT fades were not resetting correctly on other stations.
- Fixed an issue reconciling XLog events.

Version 5.3.1 was released on 17 October 2025, bringing several minor fixes and improvements:

- Fixed an issue where an initial sync to Scheduler for large libraries could time out and fail.

Version 5.3.2 was released on 24 October 2025, bringing several minor fixes and improvements:
