What's new in PlayoutONE v5.3?

PlayoutONE Pro can now automatically sync your Media Library and music logs with Aiir Scheduler.

🔧 Improvements and bug fixes

Performance improvements	Database optimisations. Aiir CMS metadata optimisations.
Audio Engine	Improvements in exporting Audio Engine configuration. Traffic log reconciliation improvements.
Auto Importer	Genre, composer and other info gathered during imports. Duck points can now be set based on the Trim In and Out points. Fixed a bug where voice tracks may remain marked as purged after a new log has been imported. Fixed an issue with Auto Importer not correctly reporting items as missing. Fixed an issue where envelopes were not applying correctly. Fixed an issue where categories could not be found if their name contained square brackets.
Data Controller	New Prism integration.
FIleCopy	Fixed an issue with FileCopy not sending email alerts.
Media Editor	Fixed an issue where the Media Editor closed unexpectedly from the Command tab. Database optimisations.
Monitor	Support for sending metadata to Futuri mobile apps. Replaced legacy EnMuxa metadata output with its successor, Multimuxa. Improved detection of invalid characters in backup file paths. Added an option to restore audio from a backup folder. Isolation Mode improvements. Fixed an issue where email alerts sent by Microsoft accounts would stop sending. Fixed an issue where Merge Error email alerts were not sending correctly. Fixed an issue with Monitor not correctly reporting items as missing. Fixed an issue where an item's metadata could not be fetched correctly.
Miscellaneous	PlayoutONE now removes unnecessary carriage return/line feed characters from metadata when exporting a library. PlayoutONE does not create these, but they may be present and cause issues importing data if they were present when the items were originally imported to PlayoutONE. Silence can now be detected within an audio item, as well as at the start or end. LUFS normalisation improvements. Improved database maintenance process. Fixed an issue where Shared VT fades were not resetting correctly on other stations. Fixed an issue reconciling XLog events.

PlayoutONE 5.3.1

Version 5.3.1 was released on 17 October 2025, bringing several minor fixes and improvements:

Auto Importer

Added the option to sync only logs via the Scheduler Sync process, working as a traditional log import job.
UI improvements for the Scheduler Sync process.
Fixed an issue where an initial sync to Scheduler for large libraries could time out and fail.

PlayoutONE 5.3.2

Version 5.3.2 was released on 24 October 2025, bringing several minor fixes and improvements:

Auto Importer	Fixed an issue where the Scheduler Sync process would gradually slow down during the initial sync of a large library (50,000+ items). Fixed an issue where the Aiir API connection could timeout during the initial sync of a large library.
Monitor	Improved free hard drive space detection, fixed an error when drives were disconnected. Updated Aiir integration.
Miscellaneous	Fixed an issue with the Segue Editor where a ducked item's fade was not being shown correctly if the following item has a TrimIn marker set. SQL database optimisations.

PlayoutONE 5.3.3

Version 5.3.3 was released on 31 October 2025, bringing several minor fixes and improvements:
