Chaining items in Scheduler

Aiir Scheduler allows you to specify whether items in your clocks should be 'chained' when played by your automation software.

In some playout systems, this is referred to as 'segueing'.

🔗 Enabling chaining

As not every playout system supports chaining items, it is an option in Scheduler which can be enabled.

To enable chaining, go to Settings in the top-right of your Scheduler library and select "Enable chaining and change the default".

Enable chaining and choose your preferred behaviour. By default, items added to Scheduler clocks will play on to try and match the default behaviour from your playout software. For example, in PlayoutONE, items will play continuously until an item is set to stop.

⛓️‍💥 Chaining and unchaining items

Once you've enabled chaining in Settings, a button will appear alongside all clock positions and log entries in the library.

Simply press the button to toggle an item's chain behaviour:
