Creating xLog templates

The xLog Editor allows you to create templates for any occasions you want to deviate from regular scheduled programming, such as live sports coverage.

Unlike PlayoutONE's regular log, there is no chain to determine whether the playlist will continue. To start and stop the xLog from playing, you will need to use the XLOG AUTOMATION ON / OFF commands.

Starting your template with XLOG AUTOMATION ON will play everything until the XLOG AUTOMATION OFF command.

To build your template, right-click the canvas, and you'll see the options you can insert, including items to play, commands, and more.

To go to a commercial break, insert an "xLog Commercial Break" and choose from the available breaks you previously created.
