Migrating from Music1 to Aiir Scheduler

Aiir Scheduler is the first music scheduler created by the team that brought you PlayoutONE.

Before we created a music scheduler of our own, PlayoutONE and the similarly named Music1 were often bundled together.

On this page, we'll run through some important details you should know when switching from Music1 to Aiir Scheduler:

If you purchased Music1 from Aiir/PlayoutONE

If Aiir bills you for Music1 as part of your PlayoutONE package, ask your account manager about switching to Aiir Scheduler. We'll take care of the rest.

If you purchased Music1 directly

If you currently liaise directly with the Music1 team, you will need to sign up for Aiir Scheduler and cancel with Music1 directly when you are ready to make the switch.

Before attempting to sync Aiir Scheduler and PlayoutONE, you will need to go into Music1's settings and change your automation system to 'None'; otherwise, your PlayoutONE library may be corrupted by conflicting schedulers.

If you want to test Aiir Scheduler before moving away from Music1 completely, you can manually import a copy of your Music1 library while leaving Music1 working as before. Just make sure you remember to change Music1's automation system to 'None' before trying to set up syncing between PlayoutONE and Scheduler.
