Importing a Music1 library into Scheduler

When you first log in to Aiir Scheduler, you have the option to import your existing music library from a third-party scheduling system like Music1.

Here is a step-by-step guide to the process:

  1. Ensure Music1 is not currently running and no changes are currently being made to your music library.
  2. Find your station's .m1 library file in your Music 1 directory (normally C:/Music1/) and copy it somewhere safe, leaving the original unchanged.
  3. Once you have a copy of your .m1 library file, go back to Aiir Scheduler and upload it. If you are during the initial setup process, you can do this at Step 5. If you already have a library, you can go to 'Settings' > 'Import a library'.
  4. Select 'Music1' and upload your .m1 database file.

The 'Other' option allows you to upload a CSV file, such as that produced by Radio.co.
  5. Once imported, your library name will be obtained from the Music1 backup file used to create it. You can customise this, as well as your timezone, tempo categories, and other settings for Aiir Scheduler.

Check out our guide to setting up your music library for more details on the options you can set in Aiir Scheduler and how to set up rules.
