Introducing The Log
The log in PlayoutONE contains the following icons (from left to right):

Home the log to the current playing or cued item |

Open a calendar which allows you to select a day and hour to jump to a particular log hour |

This will toggle the chain of an item For more information please see this article: Log - Automation and Chains |

This will allow you to preview the start of a track down your Pre-Fade/Cue device To setup this device please see this article: Settings - Select audio hardware To preview the end of a track hold shift whilst clicking this button To stop the preview click this button again |

This will soft delete the current selected item(s) If you Shift click this button it will hard delete the current select item(s) For more information please see this article: Log - Soft/Hard Delete |

Allows you to swap two items. Select one of the items to swap, press this icon, then click the next item on the log to swap with the first one then click this icon once more. This will swap the items in the log. |

This lets you remove or replace a range of UID's on the log between a time frame. For more information please see this article: Log - Remove or Replace UID's |

This lets you quickly insert an item into the log based off its UID After pressing this button you will be prompted to enter the carts UID that you wish to insert |
 |
This displays the audio history graph for the selected cart This allows you to see any past or future plays this UID has had |
 |
This allows you to insert a Twitter/Facebook post into the log For more information please see this article: Log - Social Media |

This allows you to replace the current highlighted item with a cart from the same category After clicking this option you will be presented with a list of carts to choose from |

Pressing this button will cause the log to proceed onto the next item that is queued |
